Stories That Move Rooms.

Kenyotta doesn't deliver speeches. She shares a piece of her mother, a piece of herself, and a mirror for every woman in the room to see herself more clearly.

Kenyotta is the founder of Iris Studio Jewelry, an MBA, and a storyteller who turned the deepest loss of her life into a platform that empowers women to show up for themselves every single day.

Her talks weave personal narrative with cultural truth; exploring what it means to adorn yourself with intention in a world that often tells women to shrink. She speaks about grief without making it heavy. About confidence without making it performative. About culture without making it a costume.

Audiences leave her talks doing one thing: putting their earrings on before they walk out the door.

  • Wear Your Story

What if getting dressed was a radical act? This talk explores the power of intentional adornment. How what we put on our bodies tells a story about who we are, where we come from, and what we believe we're worth. Rooted in the tradition of getting dressed as ceremony, this keynote challenges audiences to rethink their relationship with how they show up.

  • Never Leave Without Your Earrings

A deeply personal talk about a mother's wisdom that became a business, a brand, and a movement. Kenyotta shares how her mother Iris, who never let her daughters leave the house without earrings, planted the seeds of confidence, self-worth, and resilience that she carries into every piece she creates. This is a talk about mothers, daughters, and the rituals that shape us.

  • Grief to Grace

What do you do when the person who believed in you the most is gone? This talk is about the space between loss and purpose, and how creativity became the bridge. Kenyotta shares her journey from grief to entrepreneurship, from hiding from pain to building something beautiful from it. Raw, real, and full of hope.

  • Armor for the Everyday

Self-care isn't just face masks and bubble baths. It starts the moment you decide to show up for yourself; to put on the earrings, straighten your back, and walk into the world like you belong there. This talk reframes adornment as the first act of daily self-care and challenges audiences to stop saving their best for special occasions.

  • The Ritual of Adornment

Black Women and the Sacred Art of Getting Dressed. This session celebrates the history and ongoing significance of adornment in Black womanhood, from African beadwork traditions to Sunday Best to modern self-expression. Participants explore the tension between code-switching and authenticity, develop a personal Ritual of Adornment statement, and leave with a piece of ISJ jewelry that represents their intersection of culture and confidence. Best for corporate ERGs, Black women's professional organizations, HBCU events, sorority events, and Black History or Women's History Month programming.
